Sri Thina Subramaniam
Sri Thina Subramaniam is an internationally acclaimed Bharatanatyam and Odissi dancer, educator, and artistic leader whose work bridges classical traditions with contemporary social themes. As Artistic Director of the Temple of Fine Arts and founder of Kala Collective, she champions cultural education and expands access to Indian classical arts, particularly among underserved communities. Since moving to the U.S., she has curated major cultural events including the San Francisco West Wave Dance Festival and The Varnam Salon in New York, while also presenting original works and cross-disciplinary collaborations. Her performances span prestigious venues such as Lincoln Center, the Royal Opera House, and Buckingham Palace, and her artistic voice continues to resonate on both traditional and contemporary stages. Recognized for her innovation and community leadership, she is the recipient of several honors, including the DNJ Mini-Grant (2023), MAP Fund grant (2024), and the New Jersey Individual Artist Fellowship (2025).
Sneha Subramaniam
Sneha is a passionate Bharatanatyam dancer from Mumbai, India, now based in New Jersey, USA. She began her dance journey at the age of six under the guidance of Guru Kumari Vasantha and later honed her skills with Guru Shri Pavitra Bhat. Currently she is training under the mentorship of Sri Thina Subramaniam. Over the years, Sneha has performed on various prestigious stages across India and continues to share her passion for Bharatanatyam in the United States. In addition to her expertise in dance, Sneha is also trained in Carnatic music, having begun her musical education under her Amma before advancing her training with Smt. Prabha Rao.
Shreya Ramesh
Shreya Ramesh started learning Bharatanatyam at the age of five from her mother, Smt. Srividya Ramesh. In 2012, she completed her arangetram under the tutelage of Smt. Suganda Sreenath. Shreya has performed and toured in productions such as Aikya Bhaaratam directed by The Dhananjayans and Vana Viraata Vijayam directed by Smt. Anita Guha, as well as solo performances in the Chennai Margazhi Festival. She has choreographed and directed group productions for the APAture arts festival and the Dance Mission Theater’s Choreographers Showcase in San Francisco.
Pavitra Kumar
Pavitra Kumar completed her arangetram in 2017 under Smt. Madhusri Sethuraman and is currently pursuing advanced training under Smt. Shweta Prachande. She undertook a five-month intensive in Chennai, India, studying Bharatanatyam, Nattuvangam, and fitness, and has performed under the auspices of Rasika Ranjani Sabha, Brahma Gana Sabha, and Kartik Fine Arts. A Saptami Fellow and scholarship recipient of the Dance Council of North Texas, Pavitra continues to explore the Indian classical arts as both a soloist and ensemble performer, and will be appearing in Priyadarshini Govind’s upcoming production Yavanika.
